1.3. Battery connector
To connect the battery to the center, observe the polarity, i.e., red wire (positive)
connected to the center’s positive side and black wire (negative) connected to the
center’s negative side. As shown in the illustrative gure below:
The center has protection against reverse polarity, battery short-circuit, and also pro-
tection to prevent the battery from being damaged in case of a mains failure. If the
battery voltage is below 10 V, the siren and auxiliary outputs will be deactivated.
Note:the battery charger works pulsatively, so it cannot be measured using a volt-
meter.

1.4. Siren input
One or more sirens can be connected, provided that the total current is:
» Without battery: 400 mA;
» With battery: 1 A.
Note: to connect more than one siren, the system must be equipped with a battery.
It is important to emphasize that if the siren is connected to the center being fed only
by the electrical network, without the battery, its tone will be pulsative.
