Identifying the Parts of the Printer
Use this illustrations to familiarize yourself with some of the features
of the PB51.
PB51 Printer: This illustration shows the important features of the PB51
printer. A weather-resistant ap protects the communications ports and the
external power connector.
Understanding the Printer Firmware
Your PB51 printer comes with Intermec Printer Langu age (IPL),
Fingerprint, or ESC/P rmware. The choice of rmw are aects the
functionality of the printer and how you interact w ith it. This manual
contains information for using each type of printer rmware.
The current rmware type and version display on th e PB51 screen
when the printer is in Ready mode.
