Why won't my Intex 128352GN filter motor start?
    • K
      Kevin MorrisonAug 22, 2025
If the Intex Water Pump filter motor won't start, first ensure the line cord is plugged into a 3-wire outlet protected by a Class A Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter, or RCD. Check if the GFCI/RCD circuit breaker has tripped and reset it. If it repeatedly trips, there may be an electrical system defect requiring an electrician. Also, the motor may be too hot, so let it cool down before restarting.

Why is sand flowing back into my Intex Water Pump pool?
    • J
      Julie RyanSep 4, 2025
If sand is flowing back into the pool from your Intex Water Pump, it may be because the sand is too small. Use only No. 20 silica sand with a particle size range of 0.45 to 0.85 mm (0.018 to 0.033 inches) and a Uniformity Coefficient less than 1.75. If the sand bed is calcified, change the sand.

If sand is flowing back into your pool from your Intex water pump, it could be due to the sand being too small. Use only No. 20 silica sand with a particle size range of 0.45 to 0.85 mm (0.018 to 0.033 inches) and a Uniformity Coefficient less than 1.75. Another cause might be a calcified sand bed, in which case you should change the sand.

      Jessica ButlerAug 30, 2025
If your Intex Water Pump filter isn’t cleaning the pool, adjust the chlorine and pH levels. Ensure there is filtering media in the tank, loading it with filter sand according to the sand loading instructions. Set the 6-way valve to the 'FILTER' position. If the pool is excessively dirty, operate the filter for longer periods. Also, clean the strainer screen at the inlet if it's restricting water flow.

      dcooperAug 29, 2025
If your Intex Water Pump isn’t working, ensure the pool is filled to the correct water level. Clean the strainer screens at the pool inlet. Tighten the hose nuts and check the hose for damage if there's an air leak on the intake hose. If these steps don't resolve the issue, it may be a faulty motor or jammed impeller.

What to do if my Intex 128352GN Water Pump filter doesn't pump water or the flow is very slow?
    • R
      rebeccatranAug 27, 2025
If your Intex Water Pump filter doesn't pump water or the flow is very slow, first release any trapped air (refer to the operating instructions section). Next, clear any obstructions in the intake hose. After that, check for air leaks on the intake line by tightening hose nuts and inspecting for damage, also check the pool water level. If the pool is excessively dirty, backwash the filter. If the sand media is clogged with dirt, remove about 1 inch of sand if necessary. Ensure the nozzle and strainer connections are not reversed. Remove any pool vacuuming device attached to the system line. Finally, ensure the inlet threaded air connector is connected to the pool inlet upper hole.
