Also, reset the GFCI/RCD circuit breaker; if it repeatedly trips, your electrical system may have a defect, so turn off the breaker and consult an electrician. Finally, the motor may be too hot; let it cool down before restarting.

If these steps don't resolve the issue, the motor may be faulty or the impeller jammed.

      If your Intex Water Pump filter isn’t pumping water or the flow is very slow, there might be trapped air in the system – release the air according to the operating instructions section. Check for clogs in the inlet or discharge and clear any obstructions. Also, inspect the intake line for air leaks, tightening hose nuts and checking for damage, and ensure the pool water level is adequate. Backwash the filter if the pool is excessively dirty. If the sand media is clogged with dirt, remove about 1” of sand if necessary. Make sure the nozzle is at the upper position of the pool inlet, and the strainer at the lower position of the pool outlet. Remove any pool vacuuming device attached to the system line, if there is crusting or caking on the filtering sand surface.
