Cleaning the pool and pump
1. Before cleaning, pull the mains plug of the transformer

out of the socket.
2. Wipe the pool, the pump and the skimmer

with a damp cloth and a suitable
cleaning agent.
3. Then wipe all parts completely dry.
Cleaning and replacing the filter cartridge
WARNING!
Risk of injury!
Improper cleaning of the pool, the pump or the skimmer can cause
injury.
− Switch the pump off before cleaning and maintenance by pull-
ing the mains plug out of the socket.
The degree of filter contamination must be checked regularly.
It is advisable to replace the filter cartridge

at least every two weeks.
1. Ensure that the mains plug on the transformer

is not plugged in.
2. To prevent water escaping, release the inlet connection

and the filter connec-

from the hose connections

and insert one sealing plug

into
each of the hose connections from inside.
You may have to release the hose clips

slightly to do so.
3. Rotate the housing collar

anticlockwise and remove the housing cover

Make sure that the sealing ring remains in place.
4. Remove the filter cartridge.
5. Clean the filter cartridge with a garden hose or under running tap water.
6. Replace the filter cartridge if it is too dirty.
Only use filter cartridges approved by the manufacturer.
7. Insert the filter cartridge back into the pump housing.
8. Place the housing cover on the pump housing and tighten the housing collar.
9. Open the air release valve

and allow all of the air to escape from the pump
housing
10. Then retighten the air release valve.
11. Remove the sealing plugs from the hose connections.
12. Refit the inlet connection and the filter connection to the corresponding hose
connections.
