Cleaning and maintenance
27
The filter service life depends on the weather, the pool size and how the pool
is used. Experiment with different intervals between filter changes to produce
clean, clear water.
The European standard EN16713-3 provides additional information about pool
water quality and water treatment.
Cleaning and maintenance
NOTICE!
Risk of short circuit!
Water or other liquids that have penetrated the housing may cause
a short circuit.
Never immerse the pump in water or other liquids.
Make sure that no water or any other liquids get into the casing.
NOTICE!
Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the pool may result in damage.
Do not use any aggressive cleaners, brushes with metal or
nylon bristles or sharp or metallic cleaning utensils such as
knives, hard scrapers, etc. They could damage the surfaces.
Use compatible, non-scouring cleaning products that are intend-
ed for pool cleaning. Do not use standard domestic detergents.
Do not use a pressure cleaner to clean the pool.
The water line is particularly susceptible to deposits such as limescale, metals and
other greasy products (sun creams) that may be deposited on the covering layer. Reg-
ular maintenance of the water line is recommended to prevent these deposits pene-
trating the covering layer, which would make cleaning impossible.
