6.5Parkingandstationary
Ifyouparkyourvehicle,orleaveitidleorunattendedforalonger
period:
1.Switchoffthepowersupply(keyswitch)andremovekey.
6.6Useonpublicroads
Thewheelsmaybearthenote"NotForHighwayUse".However,
themobilitydevicemaybeusedonalltrafficroutesforwhichitis
approvedinaccordancewiththerelevantnationallegislation.
6.7Pushingthescooterbyhand
CAUTION!
Riskofinjuryifsomeonesitsonascooterwith
disengagedmotors
Ascooterwithdisengagedmotorscanrolloutof
control.
–Disengagethemotorsonlyifnooneissittingonthe
scooter.
Themotorsofthescooterarefittedwithautomaticbrakes,
preventingthescooterfromrollingawayoutofcontrolwhen
thepowersupplyisswitchedoff.Whenpushingthescooter,the
magneticbrakesmustbedisengaged.
6.7.1Disengagingmotors
CAUTION!
Riskofvehiclerunningaway
Whenthemotorsaredisengaged(forpushoperation
whilstfreewheeling),theelectromagneticmotorbrakes
aredeactivated.
–Whenthevehicleisparked,theleversforengaging
anddisengagingthemotorsmustbelockedfirmlyinto
the“DRIVE”position(electromagneticmotorbrakes
activated).
Theleverforengaginganddisengagingthemotorislocatedonthe
right-handsideattherear.
