11.1Diagnosisandfaultrepair
Theelectronicsystemoffersdiagnosticinformationtosupportthe
technicianduringtherecognitionandrectificationoffaultsonthe
scooter.
Theelectronicsystemreactsdifferentlydependingontheseriousness
ofthefaultanditseffectonusersafety.Itcan,forexample:
•Displaytheerrorcodeasawarningandallowbothdrivingand
normaloperationtocontinue.
•Displaytheerrorcode,stopthescooterandpreventfurther
traveluntiltheelectronicsystemhasbeenswitchedoffand
switchedonagain.
•Displaytheerrorcode,stopthescooterandnotpermitfurther
traveluntilthefaulthasbeenrectified.

11.1.1Errordiagnosis
Ifthescootershowsafailure,usethefollowingguidetolocatethe
fault.
Beforemakinganydiagnosis,ensurethatthescooterhas
beenswitchedonatthekeyswitch.
Ifthestatusdisplay/LCDdisplayisOFF:
•CheckwhetherthekeyswitchisSWITCHEDON.
•Checkwhetherallcablesarecorrectlyconnected.
LEDconsole
Ifthereisafault,thestatusdisplay(1)flashesseveraltimes,pauses,
thenflashesagain.Thetypeoffaultisdisplayedbythenumberof
flasheswhicharealsoknownasthe"flashcode".Countthenumber
