      The starter motor may not work because the master brake pedal is not depressed. Make sure to depress it fully. Also, check that the PTO switch is in the OFF position. If the battery is not fully charged, charge it. Poorly connected battery terminals can also be the cause; clean the terminal posts and connect them securely. Other potential causes include defective internal wiring in the connector, a defective safety switch of seat, a broken starter switch, or a broken starter motor, in which case consult your dealer.
