NOTE: Conduit is commercially available.
Installation
1. Thread the separate cover onto the solid-
sided hardwall conduit.
2. Route the control cables, main engine
harness, PGM-FI harness, fuel hose, water
pressure gauge hose (if equipped),
speedometer hose (if equipped) and battery
cables through the conduit.
3. Ensure the under case grommet is securely
installed on the engine (page 18-26).
4. Install the conduit onto the under case
grommet.
5. Thread the solid-sided hardwall conduit into
the separate cover and install the bolts (page
18-26).

on gauges, instrument harnesses, wiring harnesses, switch panels, and control boxes.
Water Separator
It is highly recommended to install a water separator between the boat fuel tank and
the motor. Remove the hose barb from the fuel hose end and connect the fuel hose
directly to the water separator outlet 7.5 mm (5/16 in) brass hose barb (not included)
and clamp securely.
