4.3. Twisted Pair RJ Ethernet Modem
The device may be fitted with an optional Ethernet module with MODBUS-TCP and IEC 61850 protocols.

4.4. ST Optical Fibre
Connection of optical signals consists in plugging ST plugs in relevant sockets paying particular attention to
proper matching Tx and Rx transmission directions.
During transportation and when cables are not connected optical sockets should be protected with sealing
caps. If the optical sockets get dirty or covered with dust they should be cleaned with compressed air before
connecting ST plugs.
