3.2 Installing the Light Fixture
NOTE: Perform these steps only after the electrical system requirements
are met.
1. Keep protective cover on to protect the light during installation.
The light face must be completely
snug with the return fitting without
any protrusion from the light fixture.
NOTE: Gasket helps ensure
that the conduit is not a
potential leak path

2. Snake the electric cord through the conduit outlet of the wall tting,
into the conduit and up to the location of the pool transformer. Cut the
cord 18”-24” beyond the length needed to reach the transformer to
allow for a service loop. Pull the xture snug to the wall tting.
3. Remove protective cover once light has been pulled into the tting.
4. Install cosmetic cover if desired.
NOTE: When using a 1 1/2” MIP tting on the back of a SP-1022 or
SP-1408 Wall Fitting, the interior of the Spears and Dura MIP are too
small for use with the Jandy
®
Pro Series Nicheless LED Lights.
5. Using the included installation tool, thread
the light into the wall tting until it is snug.
The light face must be completely fl ush
with the return tting. Please provide the
pool owner with a minimum of 1 key upon
job completion.
