* Use only left twist thread.The left twist
thread will twist rmly when you twist
it toward you with ngers of your right
hand.

Raise the presser foot lifter. Press the Up/Down
needle button twice to raise the needle to its
highest position. Turn the power switch off.
Set a spool of thread on the spool pin.
Pass the thread through the guide on the thread
