Hold the needle thread

lightly with your left
hand.

Turn the switch on. Press the Up/Down needle
position button twice to pick up the bobbin thread

Pull the needle thread

to bring up a loop of bobbin
thread

Slide 10 cm (4˝) of both threads to the rear under
the presser foot.
