Class A motorhomes and certain Class C motorhomes may be equipped with an Automatic
Generator Start system (AGS). AGS is not currently available on towable models.
When enabled, the Automatic Generator Start system will automatically start and stop the
generator according to operator or factory pre-selected parameters.
The Magnum AGS Start section or the Vega Touch User Guide will give more detailed
instructions about Automatic Generator Start depending on your model.
Solar Prep (if so equipped)
Your motor home may be equipped with a roof mount solar panel quick connection. This
allows a (customer purchased) solar panel to be installed permanently on the roof. Installation
will consist of the solar panel(s), regulator and wiring/fusing between the regulator and
batteries. There are no other solar plugs for portable solar panels on the vehicle.
The (black ABS) solar prep box is located in a basement compartment of the RV and
is marked with a solar prep label (indicating wire colors and polarity). There is also an
additional label indicating the RV is wired for solar.
When connected, the solar panel will supply power to the battery, the battery will supply
power to the converter, and the converter will supply power to all the 12V systems as needed.
Replacing Light Bulbs
Before replacing a bulb, be sure the light is o. Do not touch the glass part of the new bulb
with your bare ngers. The skin oil left on the glass will evaporate when the bulb gets hot,
the vapor will condense on the reector and it will dim the surface.
Replacement light bulbs must be of the type, voltage and wattage listed on the lamp xture.
Use of incorrectly sized bulbs can overload lamp circuits and may create a re hazard by
overheating the xture.
