Maintenance Positions
General
1. Park the machine on solid, level ground.
2. Install the articulation lock.
3. Move the drive lever to the neutral position.
4. Stop the engine and remove the ignition key.
5. Wait for the specified time to dissipate any residual hydraulic pressure.
Duration: 30 s
6. Disconnect the battery to prevent accidental operation of the machine.
7. If necessary, put blocks at against the two sides of the drums before you get below the machine. Refer
to Figure 48.
8. If you wish to arc weld the machine disconnect the alternator and electronic control units (if installed).
