Using the THROTTLE CONTROL knob, set the engine
speed to that required for breaker operation (as displayed in
the CLOCK window).
Note: Different breakers may require different engine
speeds. Check that the breaker engine RPM setting is
correct for the breaker being used as given in the following
table:
When the desired RPM is shown, press and hold the RESET
switch for 20 seconds to enter the setting into the controller.
A buzzer will sound when the setting is complete. The
controller will now automatically adjust the engine RPM to
the selected speed when the breaker is operated.
Turn the starter key to OFF to silence the buzzer.
Setting Automatic Idle Time
Switch the ignition on, and press the CHANGE button. Press
the PATTERN button once, then press the SELECT button
repeatedly until the monitor displays EA:A1.
The ‘S’ and ‘H’ MODE select switches are used to reset the
AUTOMATIC IDLE TIME.
To reduce the AUTOMATIC IDLE TIME press the
STANDARD MODE switch. Each press reduces the delay
displayed in the CLOCK window by 1 second. ‘S’ is
displayed in the WORK MODE window during this operation.
To increase the AUTOMATIC IDLE TIME displayed in the
CLOCK window, press the HEAVY MODE switch. Each
press increases the delay displayed in the CLOCK window
by 1 second. ‘H’ is displayed in the WORK MODE window
during this operation.
