Solenoid Valve (1- 4)
Dismantling the Solenoid Valve (1-4)
Note: The sleeve 11, the spools 23, 23 and the body 15 are
clearance packed separately, the position of the the solenoid
20 is decided by the identifying colour of the connection
section. This must be checked during dismantling.
1 Remove the hex socket bolt 32.
2 Remove the solenoid coil 20. Care must be taken not to
lose the push rod.
3 Remove the o-ring 32.
4 Remove the spools 23, 24. Remove the spool by
inserting a scraper bar onto the small hole in the spool
head.
5 Remove the sleeve 11. The sleeve should be removed
as a sub-assembly including the plain washer 34, the
spring 6 and the stopper 26.
Cleaning / Inspection
1 Clean the dismantled parts with a coating of clean oil.
2 Dry with compressed air. Place each part on a clean
sheet of paper or vinyl for inspection.
3 Verify that all sliding parts move easily.
4 Check that there is no foreign matter in any passages or
grooves.
Assembling the Solenoid Valve (1-4)
1 Install the spools 23, 24 to the sleeve 11.
2 Install the sleeve to the body.
3 Install the ‘O’ ring 39 to the solenoid coil 20. Install the
‘O’ ring to the solenoid coil to avoid damaging the ‘O’
rings.
4 Install the solenoid coil 20 to the body 15.
Note: Confirm that the push pin is inside the solenoid coil.
Care must be taken to avoid dropping the push pin
during assembly.
5 Refit the hex. socket bolts 32.
Torque tighten to 3.92 Nm (2.89 lbf ft).
Optional Solenoid Valve
Dismantling the Optional Solenoid Valve (1-4)
Note: This is the dismantling procedure during the operating
of the optional solenoid valve.
1 Remove the hex. socket bolts 32.
2 Remove the plate 25.
3 Remove the stopper 3 and the ‘O’ ring 39.
Cleaning / Inspection
1 Clean the dismantled parts with a coating of clean oil.
2 Dry with compressed air. Place each part on a clean
sheet of paper or vinyl for inspection.
3 Verify that all sliding parts move easily.
4 Replace the springs if they are damaged, deformed or
worn.
5 Replace all used ‘O’ rings with new before assembly.
6 Check that there is no foreign matter in any passages or
grooves.
Assembling the Optional Solenoid Valve
Assembling procedure of the solenoid valve during operation
1 Install the o-ring 39 to the solenoid coil 20.
2 Install the solenoid coil 20 to the body 15.
Note: Confirm that the push pin is inside the solenoid coil.
Care must be taken to avoid dropping the push pin
during assembly.
3 Refit the hex. socket bolts 32.
Torque tighten to 3.92 Nm (2.89 lb/ft).
Assembling procedure of the solenoid valve without
operation
1 Install the o-ring 39 to the stopper 3.
2 Install the stopper 3 to the body 15.
3 Refit the hex. socket bolts 32.
