Shut off Valve 2
Dismantling the Shut off Valve 2
1 Loosen the plug 29 with a spanner.
2 Remove the plug 29 and the ‘O’ ring 42.
3 Loosen the plug 29 (spool head side) with a hex bar
spanner.
4 Remove the plug 29 and the ‘O’ ring 42.
5 Remove the spring 7 and spool 16.
Cleaning / Inspection
1 Clean the dismantled parts with a coating of clean oil.
2 Dry with compressed air. Place each part on a clean
sheet of paper or vinyl for inspection.
3 Verify that all sliding parts move easily.
4 Replace the springs if they are damaged, deformed or
worn.
5 Replace all used ‘O’ rings with new before assembly.
6 Check that there is no foreign matter in any passages or
grooves.
Assembling the Shut off Valve 2
1 Install the ‘O’ ring 42 onto the plug 29.
2 Install the plug 29 to the main assembling surface of the
body 15.
Torque tighten to 6.86 Nm (5 lbf ft).
3 Install the spool 16 and the spring 7 into the body 15.
4 Install the plug 29 into the body 15.
Torque tighten to 9.8 Nm (7.23 lbf ft).
Pressure Reducing Valve
Dismantling the Pressure Reducing Valve
1 Loosen the plug 31 with a spanner.
2 Remove the plug 31 and the ‘O’ ring 44.
3 Remove the spring 21,the shim 1 and spool 13.
Cleaning / Inspection
1 Clean the dismantled parts with a coating of clean oil.
2 Dry with compressed air. Place each part on a clean
sheet of paper or vinyl for inspection.
3 Verify that all sliding parts move easily.
4 Replace the springs if they are damaged, deformed or
worn.
5 Replace all used ‘O’ rings with new before assembly.
6 Check that there is no foreign matter in any passages or
grooves.
Assembling the Pressure Reducing Valve
1 Install the o-ring 44 onto the plug 31.
2 Install the spool 13, the shim 1 and the spring 21 into
the body 15.
4 Install the plug 31 into the body 15.
Torque tighten to 48 Nm (35.4 lbf ft).
Shuttle Valve
Dismantling the Shuttle Valve
1 Loosen the seat 2 with a spanner.
2 Remove the shim 2 and the steel ball 38.
Cleaning / Inspection
1 Clean the dismantled parts with a coating of clean oil.
2 Dry with compressed air. Place each part on a clean
sheet of paper or vinyl for inspection.
3 Verify that all sliding parts move easily.
4 Check that there is no foreign matter in any passages or
grooves.
Assembling the Shuttle Valve
1 Place the steel ball 35 to the seat section of the seat 2
and check the bearing.
2 Insert the steel ball 35 into the body, insert the bearing
tool and check the bearing. Dispose of the used steel
ball used for bearing check.
3 Insert a new steel ball into the body 15.
4 Apply Loctite 262 to the seat screw section 2 and install
it to the body 15.
Torque tighten to 147 Nm (108 lbf ft).
