64 Leave the padded container below the bench and turn
the track gearbox over.
Using a hammer A and pin punch B, tap collar 11 at
several points around its circumference to remove inner
bearing 21.
65 Use a pin punch and hammer to remove oil seal 132
from spindle 2. Remove the floating seal 31 from the
spindle 2.
67 Remove the outer shells of bearings 22 from the spindle.
If difficulty is experienced due to bonding from a film of
oil, tap the centre of the shell mounting hole with an
aluminium rod. This should release the bond.
68 Remove the outer shells of bearings 22 from holding
flange 3.
