OVERLOAD
PROTECTION
The motor on your
saw
is
_equipped
with
a reset over-
load
relay
button. If the motor shuts
off
or
!ails
to
star!
due to overloading
(cutting
stock
too
fast,
using
a
dull
blade, using the saw beyond
ils
capacity,
etc.)
or law
voltage
turn the
switch
to
the
"off"
position,
let the motor cool three
to
five
minutes and push the
reset button
which
will
reset the overload
deviee.
The
motor can then .be turned
on
again in the usua! manner.
BLADE
RAISING
AND
TILTING
MECHANISM
To
raise
or
lower the saw blade, loosen
lock
knob (A)

ex-
ception
of
hollow
ground blades, the blade should
be
raised
1/8"
to
1/4"
above. the top surface
of
the material
being
eut.
With
hollow
ground blades the blade should
be
raised to the maximum

tilt
the saw blade, loosen
