  Your Jet Power Tool motor may be overheating due to several reasons. It could be an electrical circuit fault, where the current draw exceeds the motor plate rating. Using an oversize drill, excessive feed, or the absence of cutting fluid (or using the wrong type) can also cause overheating. Make sure the current draw matches the rating on the motor plate, reduce the drill size and feed rate, and use the correct cutting fluid for the material and drill.
