The 115V plug
that
comes
with
the
unit
will
have to be replaced
with
one designed
for
230V
operation.
Switching
motor voltage or
replacing
electrical
parts should only be
done
by
qualified
personnel.
ARBOR
INSTALLATION
WARNING:
All
adjustments to machine must be made with
the power off and unplugged from the power
source.
Failure
to comply may result in serious
injury!
WARNING:
Safety shield has been removed for illustration
purposes only. Never operate shaper without
safety shield.
Failure
to comply may result in
serious
injury:
1.
Disconnect machine from the power source.
2.
Raise
spindle
fully.
3.
Select the desired arbor and hand tighten
arbor nut
onto
arbor.
4.
C!lean
the arbor shank and the
bore
of the
spindle.
See figure 14.
5.
Put the arbor shank into the spindle and
tighten arbor nut.
(>.
Put the draw bar into the bottom of the
spindle
and hand lighten.
7.
Tighten the arbor nut
with
an open end
wrench
while
holding the
flat
on arbor
bottom
with
an 17mm open end wrench.
Then
tighten draw bar. See figure 15.
