If LED is... Interpretation
On solid
LED is running a 20 second power up self test. Allow it to
continue.
Blinking once per
second
LED has passed diagnostics, but no N2 messages have
been received for this VMA address. Check N2 address
and definition in supervisory controller.
Irregularly flashing
about four times
every second
The supervisory system is polling the VMA.
N2 communication is established.
Rapid flashing
about 20 times per
second
Needs code download. Using HVAC PRO software, click
Download<VMA Code.
Note: HVAC PRO software must be attached directly to
the N2 Bus of the controller to perform a code
download. You cannot download code from the
Metasys system or over the Zone Bus.
Not lit
The VMA is not receiving power, or +15 V has shorted.
Note: For any unusual conditions, such as fast regular blinking or no LED
indication, refer to the Troubleshooting Variable Air Volume Module
