Outline sketch of the operation of the articulated
steering.
Steering
All riders in the FR series have articulated steering.
The force from the steering wheel is transferred to
the rear wagon via cables and a chain. This makes
steering the rider both easy and very precise. It
easily mows around all obstacles on the lawn.
The FR machines have steering columns with
bearings (1).
The turning circle is very small due to the
articulated steering; the uncut circle with full lock is
only 20-30 cm.
