6.3 Troubleshooting
If the S-VDR malfunctions, troubleshoot it according to the following list. Read the cause and take
the actions recommended on the list.
If the malfunction persists or there is a problem not listed below, contact your sales representative,
our sales department, nearest branch office or sales office.
6.3.1 In case of trouble
Trouble symptom Cause Actions to take
The MCB's LED (SYS. or
REC.) does not turn on.
The RCU's POWER switch
does not turn on.
Turn on the RCU's POWER
switch.
The AC-line fuse is blowing
out.
After the power supply to the
RCU is stopped, check the
PSU's AC-line fuse. If the
AC-line fuse is blowing out,
replace with the spare fuse.
The power supply is not
supplied from the switchboard.
Check the switchboard.
The PSU is breaking down. Contact your sales
representative, our sales
department, nearest branch
office or sales office.
The OPU's screen is not
displayed.
The OPU's screen brightness
is becoming low.
Adjust the screen brightness
by the rotary knob.
The life of OPU's LCD is
approaching.
Check the OPU's operating
time. See 4.7.4 Checking the
replacement parts”.
If the OPU's operating time is
over 50,000 hours, it is
necessary to replace the OPU.
Contact your sales
representative, our sales
department, nearest branch
office or sales office.
The power supply is not
supplied to the OPU.
1) Check the LAN cable
2) Reboot the RCU.
The OPU cannot operate. The function of rotary knob is
becoming the operation mode.
Push the HOME button in the
OPU.
The rotary knob is breaking
out.
It is necessary to replace the
OPU. Contact your sales
representative, our sales
department, nearest branch
office or sales office.
