5. Check the S-VDR system starts up normally on the OPU screen.
If the S-VDR system starts up normally, the OPU displays the HOME screen.
When an alert occurs, rectify it according to the procedure described in “4.3 Checking the Alerts
and Information”.

If the optional DAU is added, an alert occurs in the start-up because the S-VDR system is not
setting the initial heading angle data. See “4.8 Initial Setting of the Heading Angle” and set the
initial heading angle data.
