Various Protection Circuits
The
JRL-2000F
incorporates several protection facilities in order to protect the circuitry against
internal and external stresses and overloads such as overdrive and abnormal output loads.
When one of the protection circuits is actuated in the PA unit, the gate bias of the power
MOSFETs are directly controlled, without slow-operating ALC feedback, in order to reduce
the power output. Therefore, should the ALC line not be conected, the PA unit will not suffer
any damage.
