SteeringTrim(STT)
TheXR-3electronicsteeringtrim lever,locatedjustabove
thesteeringwheel,allowsthecenterpositionoftheservoto
bemanipulatedineitherdirectiontoachieveprecisecenter-
ingofthesteeringassembly.Steeringtraveladjustmentval-
ues(page18)remaincompletelyindependentfromthe
steeringtrim,unlessthetrimvalueexceedstheselected
endpointvalues.(Forexample:Iftrimvaluearesetat40and
endpointvaluesat30,steeringtrimwill override/alterthe
endpointvalue.)

to bemanipulatedineitherdirectiontoachieveprecisecen-
teringofthethrottletriggerneutralposition.Throttle
endpointadjustmentvalues(page18)remaincompletely
independentfromthethrottletrim,unlessthetrimvalue
exceedstheselectedendpointvalues.(Forexample:Ifthe
trimvalueissetat40andtheendpointvaluesat30,throttle
trimwill override/altertheendpointvalue.)

Toadjustthesteeringtrimservoposition,movethe
electronicsteeringtrimlevereithertotheleft(+)orthe
right(-).Assoonasthetrimis moved,theSTTsteeringtrim
screenwillappear,andwill continueto bedisplayedunless
thetrimleveris untouchedforaperiodoffiveseconds.To
resetthetrimvalueto 0,presstheINCREASEand
DECREASEkeysatthesametimewhiletheSTTscreenis
displayed.

untouchedforaperiodoffiveseconds.Toresetthetrim
valuetozero,presstheINCREASEandDECREASEkeysat
thesametimewhiletheTHTscreenisdisplayed.
