4. Tighten the capve screws on the front bezel of the fan module by using the screwdriver (see Figure
112 on page 200.

NOTE: If you have a Juniper J-Care service contract, register any addion, change, or upgrade of
hardware components at hps://www.juniper.net/customers/support/tools/updateinstallbase/.
Failure to do so can result in signicant delays if you need replacement parts. This note does not
apply if you replace exisng components with the same type of component.
NOTE: You must install all the fan modules and they must be operaonal for opmal funconing
of the switch.
The switch connues to operate for 60 seconds without thermal shutdown while you are replacing a fan
module.
