Table 33: SYS, ALM, and MST Chassis Status LEDs on EX4400 Switches
(Connued)
LED Label Color State and Descripon
In a Virtual Chassis conguraon:
• On steadily—The switch is the primary switch in the
Virtual Chassis conguraon.
• Blinking—The switch is funconing as the backup
switch in the Virtual Chassis conguraon.
• O—The switch is a linecard member in the Virtual
Chassis conguraon or the switch is halted.
NOTE: Issuing request system power-off doesn't power-o the SYS LED, which connues to blink. It
is because this command will power-o only the CPU board. As CPU board asserts plaorm
reset during shutdown process, it will trigger SYS LED to enter default state of blinking. This is
expected behavior.
