Basic
Operation

To
turn
on
your
receiver,
press
the POWER
switch
on.
The
Tuner
Display
Window
lights
up.
The
Source indicator
Lights
show
the source
that
was last
played.

the speaker
system
you
want
by
SPEAKERS

switch,
the
SpEAKERS
2
switches.
Note:
lf
just
one
pair
of speakers
is
connected
to the
receiver
and
you press
both
SPEAKERS
switches,
no
sound
will
be
heard.

you
want
to listen
through
headphones, plug
them
in to
the
Headphones
Jack.
Note:
lf
you
do not
want
sound
coming
through
the
speakers,
press
both SPEAKERS
switches
off.

Press
one
of the
Source
Select
buttons
to choose
the
stereo
source
you
want
to listen
to.
The
corresponding
Source
Indicator
Light
shows
which
stereo
source
is
being
played.
Note:
Operate
the
stereo sources
(for
example:
CD,
phono,
tape
deck)
by following
the appropriate
instruction
manuals.

Turn
the VOLUME
control to
adjust the
volume.
Impoftant!
Listening
to
an ertremely
loud
sound may
cause
a hearing
defect. Adjust
the volume
properly.
Especialty
when
using
headphones,
avoid
listening
to
an
ertremely loud
sound.

the BALANCE
control
left
or right
to
set
the
balance
between
the
left
and right
speakers.

Turn
the TREBLE
control left
or right to
decrease
or
Increase
treble
(high
frequency)
sound level.

Turn
the BASS
control
left
or right
to decrease
or increase
bass
(low
frequency)
sound
level.
