9. Example of M-Bus network
It is possible to have more than one M-Bus Cascade unit in the same system, thereby
increasing the number of MULTICAL
®
energy meters.
All M-Bus Slaves can be read from point A.
From point B M-Bus Slaves in subnetworks 1 and 2 can be read.
From point C all M-Bus Slaves in subnetwork 2 can be read.
M-Bus Cascade unit = Total number of M-Bus Slaves Total cable length
