Remote sweep operation
Staircase sweep commands
Table 10-3 summarizes remote commands used for linear and log staircase sweep opera-
tion. See Section 18, “Configure voltage and current sweeps,” for more details on these
commands.
Staircase sweep programming example
As an example of linear staircase sweep operation, assume the SourceMeter is to be used
to generate the I-V characteristics of a diode. Many diode tests, such as breakdown voltage
and leakage current, require only single-point measurements. Some, such as quality-
assurance analysis of marginal parts, involve performing a complete I-V sweep for
detailed analysis.
