FLUID DATA
Select the uid. There are three types:
1. Steam / Water
All information required for steam and water (such as saturated steam
curve, density and thermal capacity) is permanently stored in the ow
computer.
2. Fluid Displayed
Preset information for other uids (such as air and natural gas) is
stored in the ow computer and can directly adopted by the user.
If the preset values need to be changed to t your specic process
conditions, then proceed as follows:
Select the uid (air or natural gas) and press the ENTER key (this
sets all of the preset values).
Re-select the submenu group "FLUID TYPE", now choose
"GENERIC" and ENTER. Now the preset values for the previously
selected uid can be altered.
3. Generic Fluid
Select the setting "GENERIC" for the Fluid type submenu. The
characteristics of any uid can now be dened by the user.
Selection:
GENERIC, WATER, SATURATED STEAM, SUPERHEATED
STEAM, DRY AIR, HUMID AIR, HUMID GAS, NATURAL
GAS, NATURAL GAS (NX-19), HYDROGEN, ARGON,
METHANE, NITROGEN, CARBON DIOXIDE, PROPANE,
OXYGEN, ETHANE, HELIUM
Display: GENERIC
FLUID TYPE
Select the density for a generic uid at reference temperature and
pressure (see "STP REFERENCE" in "OTHER INPUT" submenu
group).
Input:
Number with oating decimal point: 0.0001...10000.0
Display: .0760 #/ft3
