In this mode, all installed and licensed signal generator features are fully
supported, but BERT and N5102A features are not available.
Figure 15-4 Changing to the Primary Baseband Operating Mode
1. Press Aux Fctn.
2. Press Baseband Operating Mode.
3. Press Primary. (Press the Return key to cancel the change.)
4. After reading the above caution and taking any needed actions,
press Confirm Change to Primary Operating Mode or Return to cancel.
This confirmation selects the PXB Input ARB FPGA image. All signal
generator features are available in this mode except BERT and N5102A
functionality. For backwards compatibility, selecting the Primary Baseband
Operating Mode sets the I/Q Digital Bus Connectivity to PXB.
The Primary annunciator is NOT displayed and it overwrites
both the BERT and N5102A annunciators, indicating that the
Primary Baseband Operating Mode is currently selected.
Annunciators for BERT or N5102A are only displayed when
the Baseband Operating Mode is not set to Primary.

Changing the Baseband Operating Mode selection will cause all files in the
volatile waveform memory to be lost. Backup any files you want to keep before
confirming the change.
