The following illustration shows the jumper block J7, along with the relevant
guidance provided on the board’s silk-screen for jumper placement:

The jumpers in 3x16 jumper block J8 (at lower board center) determine if row
connections can be made from the male D-Sub connector P2 (i.e. they “enable”
the row signal connection points at this D-sub).
