To change the security code
To change the security code, you must first unsecure the instrument, and then
enter a new code. Make sure you have read the security code rules described on
page 39 before attempting to change the security code.
Front panel operation:
1 To change the security code, first make sure that the instrument is unsecured.
Press [Utility] > Security.
2 Press New Code, enter the new security code, and press Done.
3 Verify the new code, and press Yes to confirm the change.
4 Press LOCK to secure the instrument with the new code.
Remote interface operation:
CALibration:SECure:CODE <new_code>
Changing the code from the front panel also changes the code as seen from the
remote interface.
