The following symbols on the instrument and in the documentation indicate
precautions which must be taken to maintain safe operation of the instrument.
Caution, risk of danger (refer to this
manual for specific Warning or Caution
information)
Direct current (DC)
Protective conductor terminal Alternating current (AC)
Earth (ground) terminal Out position of a bi-stable push control
Terminal is at earth potential. Used for
measurement and control circuits
designed to be operated with one
terminal at earth potential.
In position of a bi-stable push control
Positive binding post Negative binding post
