Basic Operating Tests
The basic operating tests are used to test the basic operability of the multimeter.
Repair is required if the multimeter fails the basic operating tests.
Backlight test
Press to test the backlight. It will momentarily turn the backlight on and
off.
Display test
Press and turn on the multimeter by turning the rotary switch from
to any other position to view all annunciators of the display. Compare the
display with the example in Figure 1-1.
