There is a
LOAD key on both
the load
unit and the frame.
When the load is turned
on.
the LED above and to
the left of the key
illuminates.
Turn
off
the load
when applying the output
of the equipment
under test to
the PLZ-U. Then, turn
the load on. If
you are making the connection
with
the
load turned on, be sure to turn off the output of the equipment
under
test.
If a relay or
electromagnetic switch is Inserted between the load input con-
nector and
the output
connector of
the
equipment under test, turn on the
relay or
electromagnetic
switch when the load is turned
off.
Then,
turn the
load on.
If you are repeating
the operation of turning
on/off the output of the equip-
ment under test
when using the PLZ70UA,
turn on the output only after
the
load input
terminal voltage reaches
approximately
0
V after turning
off
the
output.
If you do not,
the internal bias power supply stays
off, and the
specified current may
not be supplied.

If you press
the LOAD key on
a load unit, the
load turns on
only on the
correspond-
ing
channel. If you press the
key again when the
load is turned
on, the load turns
off.

you set the polarity
of the load-on
external control to
low active and open the
signal input terminal,
you will not be able to
turn on the load from the
panel. For
