Overview

The KING-METER K5250 is an integrated handlebar display designed for e-bikes, offering a range of functions and features to enhance the riding experience.

Function Description

The K5250 display provides a variety of functions and displays to meet customer's riding needs. It shows the capacity of the battery, speed (including real-time, max, and average speed), distance (single trip distance and ODO), single trip time, walk assist status, headlight status, error codes, and USB charging function. It also allows for multi-setting parameters.

Important Technical Specifications

The K5250 products are made of aluminum alloy material, ensuring durability and good mechanical performance. The working temperature range of the housing material is -20°C to +60°C. The display has a physical dimension of 560mm in width and 133mm in height, with a clamping diameter of Ø22.20mm and a stem diameter of 28.6mm.

The default maximum riding speed setting is 25 Km/h, but this can be adjusted from 12 Km/h to 40 Km/h. When the electric power exceeds the set value, the controller will stop the power supply to the motor to protect the rider. The display includes a USB interface that provides charging power for mobile phones with an output of 500mA. When the display is off, it can connect the data cable of the mobile phone to the display, and the mobile phone will charge. At this time, the display shows a charging icon, indicating that the phone is charging. If the display is turned off at this time, the USB interface still provides the charging function of the mobile phone. When the display is power-on state, pressing "MODE", "UP", and "DOWN" will begin charging. If in any state, you unplug the phone, the charging will be terminated automatically.

The display also features an error code system to indicate system failures. Error codes include:

  • 21: Current Abnormal
  • 22: Throttle Abnormal
  • 23: Motor phase problem
  • 24: Motor Hall defect
  • 25: Brake Failed
  • 30: Abnormal Communication
