Usage Features
The K5274 (Bett) LCD is designed for intuitive operation with three buttons: "MODE," "UP," and "DOWN."
Installation:
To install, ensure the e-bike is powered off. Insert the display's connector into the corresponding controller connector. Adjust the display to a suitable angle for optimal viewing.
On/Off:
- Power On: Long press the "MODE" button to turn on the display and power up the controller.
- Power Off: With the display on, long press the "MODE" button to shut down the display. The display automatically shuts down if the e-bike is not used for more than 10 minutes.
User Interface Navigation:
- Normal Display Interface: Shows real-time battery power, speed, single trip distance, odometer, and PAS level.
- Data Statistics Interface: To switch from the normal display to the data statistics interface, long press "UP" + "MODE" buttons when the speed is 0. This interface displays riding distance, max speed, average speed, calories consumption, CO2 reduction, fat reduction, and a linear statistical chart of single riding speed (up to 12 minutes). Short press "MODE" to switch to the next page within the data statistics interface. Long press "MODE" to switch back to the normal display interface.
Walk Assist Mode:
Press and hold the "DOWN" button for 2 seconds to enter Walk Assist mode. The e-bike will travel at a constant speed of 6km/h. This function is intended for pushing the e-bike by hand, not for riding.
Headlight On/Off:
Long press the "UP" button for 2 seconds to turn on the backlight and the headlight (if connected). Long press "UP" again for 2 seconds to turn them off.
PAS Level Selection:
Short press the "UP" or "DOWN" button to switch the PAS level. The motor output power will change accordingly. The default range of PAS levels is 0-5, where Level 1 is the lowest output power and Level 5 is the highest.
Battery Indicator:
The battery power status is displayed in five grids. When the power is low, the indicator will turn red to remind the user to charge the battery.
User Settings:
To access user settings, press and hold the "UP" and "DOWN" buttons simultaneously for 2 seconds when the e-bike is powered on and has no speed. The display will enter the setting interface. Use "UP" or "DOWN" to select settings.
- Wheel Diameter Setting: Short press "MODE" to enter. Use "UP" and "DOWN" to select the wheel diameter (16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 700C, 28, 29 inches). Long press "MODE" to return to the setting list.
- Speed Limit Setting: Short press "MODE" to enter. Use "UP" and "DOWN" to adjust the maximum speed (10.5mph/17km/h to 27.9mph/45km/h). Long press "MODE" to return to the setting list.
- Backlight Brightness Setting: Short press "MODE" to enter. The options are 1, 2, 3, and "auto." Level 1 is the darkest, 2 is standard, 3 is the brightest, and "auto" automatically adjusts brightness. Long press "MODE" to return to the setting list.
- Display Unit Setting: Short press "MODE" to enter. Select between metric (km/h) or imperial (mile/h) units using "UP" and "DOWN." Long press "MODE" to return to the setting list.
- Version Information (ABOUT): Short press "MODE" to view manufacturer's name, software version (e.g., K5274_K1001), and hardware version (e.g., K5274-M-UART). This information is useful for maintenance.
Exit Setting:
In the setting list interface, short press "MODE" to save settings and exit. If there is no operation for one minute, the display will automatically exit the setting state.
Maintenance Features
Error Code Indication:
The display shows error codes (e.g., E30) when a fault occurs. The e-bike cannot be driven until the fault is eliminated.
