When the parking brake is pulled up-
ward during parking, the brake is
actuated. When the button on the end
of the lever is pressed, and the lever is
lowered, the parking brake is released.

CAUTION
FOOT THROTTLE
(1) Foot Throttle
The foot throttle is interlocked with the
hand throttle. Depressing the foot
throttle increase engine speed. And
when the foot throttle is released, the
engine is at idling. Also the foot throttle
is often used to increase the engine
speed temporarily rather than chang-
ing the setting of the hand throttle. The
foot throttle is mainly used to drive on
the road.

When the hand throttle is at a set
position, the max. engine RPM can be
adjusted by the foot throttle. The hand
throttle is mainly used in farming.
