KODAK EKTAPRO
EM PROCESSOR
TRIGGER IN
BNC type connector that receives a TRIGGER input from the user.
This signal is connected to TTL logic circuitry where a “low” is a
voltage anywhere between -30.0 and +0.6 volts. The TTL circuitry
will read a voltage between +2.6 and 30.0 volts as a “high.”
There is a switch located to the immediate left of the connector
labeled INVERT. When the INVERT switch handle is down the TRIG
IN input interprets a high to low transition or a contact closure to
the processor chassis ground as a trigger. When the INVERT switch
handle is up a low to high transition is interpreted as a trigger.
CAUTION
Do not connect this input directly to the AC mains and do not
exceed 30 volts DC or 30 volts RMS AC.
ROC IN
A BNC type connector that receives a TTL compatible ROC (Record
On Command) input from the user. This input has the same
electrical specification as TRIG IN.
There is a switch located to the immediate left of the connector
labeled “INVERT.” When the INVERT switch handle is down the
ROC IN input interprets a high as a record command. When the
INVERT switch handle is up a low or a contact closure to the
processor chassis ground is interpreted as a record command.
EXT SYNC IN
A BNC type connector that receives a TTL compatible EXT SYNC
(External Synchronization) input from the user. This input has the
same electrical specification as TRIG IN.
There is a switch located to the immediate left of the connector
labeled “INVERT.” When the INVERT switch handle is down the
EXT SYNC input interprets a low to high transition as a synchroniz-
ing signal. When the INVERT switch handle is up a high to low
transition or a contact closure to the processor chassis ground is
interpreted as a synchronizing signal.
