keypad. The keypad message field will display READY TO REC-
ORD and the video monitor status will display LIVE/READY.

SETTING UP THE PICTURE
If you are working in an area with normal office lighting and you
have removed the imager lens cap, there should be a picture on
the video monitor.
Point the Imager at something interesting and adjust the lens
aperture and focus rings to obtain an acceptable picture on the
video monitor. If you are using a zoom lens you may have to
adjust the focal length.
