5.1 Engine oil replacement
Important
•Place engine on level surface to ensure accurate
measurementofoillevel.
NOTE: Perform this operation with warm engine, to get a
betterfluidityoftheoilandgetafulldischargeofoil
andimpuritiescontainedinit.
1 -LoosentheoilfillercapA(Fig. 5.1).
2 - RemovetheoildipstickB.
3 -Remove the oil drain plug D and the gasket E
(theoildrainplugisonbothsidesoftheoilsump).
4 - Drainoilinanappropriatecontainer.
(For the exhausted oil disposal, refer to
Par. 5.6 DISPOSAL and SCRAPPING).
5 - ReplacegasketE.
6 - TightenthedrainoilplugD(tighteningtorqueat35 Nm).
7 - Add the type and amount of oil recommended
(Tab. 1.1 andTab. 1.2).
8 - If the plug A is not accessible, use the oil
fillercapC.

•DonotexceedtheMAXlevelonthedipstick.

Disconnectthenegativewire(-)fromthebatterytoavoidaccidentalenginestarting.
