4. Installation of scaffold
4.1 General
The scaffold may only be installed, after all parts of section 2 on the product and
the safety instructions in section 3 have been read in full. At least two workers are
required to erect the scaffold. Before starting the erection work, ensure that all
necessary component parts and tools are available on the site of installation and
that the parts of the scaffold are not defective. Use only original component parts
that meet the specifications of the manufacturer.
NOTE ON THE USE OF THE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
The installation manual describes the various installation options of the ProTec system.
Read the entire installation manual before erecting the scaffolding and consider the
different installation options. For the position of the diagonal braces, please refer to
the drawings on pages 63 to 64.
Depending on the height above ground of the top accessible board, the scaffold might
have to be stabilised with ballasts or outriggers. For more detailed instructions, see the
last chapter of this installation and user manual.
