4.5 Installation of wall brackets
Scaffolds used on walls can be equipped with wall brackets and thus secured to the
wall. These brackets however only provide additional stability but are not designed to
carry loads.
Wall brackets are no substitute for the prescribed ballasts and outriggers
(see pages 63 to 64).
To fix the scaffold to the wall, use eyelet bolts with a diameter of 12 mm. Use wall
plugs that are suitable for the respective wall construction.
Wall brackets must always be mounted below the top working platform.
