6.13.3 Air filter for the pipework
The air filter is installed in front of the brake valve. This
cleans the compressed air, thereby protecting the brake
system from faults.
The brake system will also work even if the
filter element is blocked in both flow
directions.
Removing the air filter
• Slacken the nut (2).
• Twist the air filter (1).
• Slacken the hook spring ring (3).
• Remove the filter element.
Maintaining the air filter
Clean the air filter before the season starts.
Installing the air filter
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
